McKinley Consulting is currently recruiting for a 3-6 month consulting
engagement for UI Designer. We have a Jr. & a Sr. level role.

- Experience interviewing internal business clients and
external customers to elicit user requirements and needs for Web sites
(Internets and Intranets)
- Will be involved in up front definition of new Web sites
and Web-related pages or sections
- Will maintain existing Web sites performing some HTML
coding, making sure updates meet existing standards, and keeping sites
useful and usable
- Will partner with internal Web team and external vendor
teams to design and build Web-based solutions
- Experience creating wireframes for new and existing Web sites
and Web applications
- Good Photoshop skills
- Experience creating visual prototypes (shared with business
clients prior to building the site) – Can be low-fi or high-fi (from
paper to HTML prototype)
- Experience designing the information architecture for Web
sites
- Experience performing usability testing (optional, but a
bonus)
- Experience and an understanding of user-centered design
methods and practices
- Good customer relationship skills
- Good presentation skills
- People person
- Good writing skills
